Why did I choose my major?

I don't understand how it was that at school I decided to study at medical school, but I was very determined to study it, I think it was when they asked me "how do you see yourself working?" I thought about what my life would be like if I studied engineering and I disliked it despite being good at math, but I did like to see myself helping patients, determining pathologies, researching and performing surgical interventions.

To get here I had to ride a long way. After leaving school, as I mentioned in my first blog, I wanted to study in the Medical school, but my family did not want because my sudden change of thinking from engineering to something with health made them doubt my true vocation, anyway I study for 3 month a nursing major because in that university they allowed the internal change to medicine for being his first year.
At the University of Copiapó I lived in the university home because I could not afford the stay of a normal rent of a room, in the third month the university announced that the internal change cannot be made, which caused many classmates to leave.
After leaving University I went back to Coquimbo and I lived with an aunt, I studied the rest of the year and the year 2019 trying to get the necessary score for Medical school but my NEM made it very difficult despite my good results. I got in a Dentistry major because I couldnt get in to the Medical school. Dentistry was my second option, but every time I think about what my job will be like, all those who said that I don't have the vocation will see the passion with which I will help to many people, all that motivates me every day more. I just want to repay the help I received from everyone who believed in me.

  6. It's great that you're discovering Dentistry as you study it. It can happen that you start liking something as you study it, not before. That happened to me with language teaching. In fact when I was 13, I took a "job aptitude test" and it said "Physical Therapist" (kinesiologo)...I was sort of offended, and had never thought of it. Now, when I think about it, that could have been an option for me as far as things I like...

I am good and I have enough patience with crafts but this system does not help me at all to love the subject "skills", the only thing I can rescue from this subject is the day when they made us mold and carve a tooth in soap, it turned out very well, maybe I would enjoy more a class or maybe I could better determine what I like to study if it where were face-to-face.  I don't have the same love that my classmates have for this subject as I should have, it frustrates me because from what I have seen it is the closest subject to what I will be able to do in the future, but I swear that I try to maintain interest but it is so difficult, it's like reading an instruction manual and a couple of photos on a white paper of how to be a dentist, although I like the mayor is someway is kind of boring. The other subject that I can rescu e is English, I really like playing with this language, speaking even though I don't have the best of dictions, it's fun, for me it is no...

Fistula

This website is oriented to memes about student experiences of the dentistry mayor. If you are reading this post and you are in a dentistry mayor maybe you know what I'm may talking about, If you're not you can find it on Instagram like "La fístula". I visit the account almost every day even for a few minutes because they upload posts frequently. I like it because they take with a lot of humor the misfortunes or bad experiences of students that are common in some subject of the dentistry mayor.  Before entering to study this mayor I had no idea of what dental students lived and now, when I see these publications I can gradually understand some references that are mentioned in the memes, that makes me feel more understood when I feel bad with some things related to the dentistry mayor. The other thing that I like a lot is that many of their publications contain images of very funny kittens, is a trend in the youth population to use images of kittens in memes. I can say...
